Bob Kogut has been fiddling around Western North Carolina for the past 6 years. Previously out of Orlando Florida, he founded a once popular contra dance band, the ‘Lemmings Dilemma’. He is past president of the Florida Fiddler’s Association, and has won numerous awards at fiddle contests throughout the South. In his spare time, he makes fiddles, and is an official sponsor of Merlefest in Wilkesboro every April.  Check out his fiddle making web site www.geocities.com/rkoguts

Karen Delgado Gaughan has been playing piano at dances for nearly 14 years from Alabama to New Jersey and calling dances for 2 years prior to that.  She has been dancing for 23 years and is one of today's busiest contra dance musicians.  She has played numerous dance weekends and couple dance events around the Southeast.  She presently teaches elementary school music near Asheville NC.

Skip Metheny    From his early teens, Skip played with various R&R bands. Skip was a founding member of the show band "The Doomsday Refreshment Committee" which toured Vietnam entertaining US and allied military folks in the 70's and later became the house band in a Bangkok nightclub.  After moving to Asheville, Skip became an avid contradancer and was influenced by the local music scene to experiment with different styles of music. He has been playing percussion and bass for contra and swing music at various festivals, dance weekends, and other events around the Southeast since 1997.  www.skipmetheny.com

Art Shuster  Art has been playing dances in Western North Carolina and all over the US since he first hooked up with Laurie Fisher in the stairwells of Warren Wilson college in 1982. First as a guitar flatpicker, and most recently as a mandolinist, he has added his fiddle-tune-based style to a plethora of bands prior to Wild Goose Chase, namely the String Beings, Far Horizons, and the WhoAlls.  Art has found his niche in the Contra Dance scene, and is most happy trying to make his mandolin blend with the fiddles while making dancers bounce.

Roberta Kogut is not only a very frequent caller with the band but also Bob's wife. She has been calling contradances throughout the Southeast for ten years, including Florida's Wings and Strings festival, Florida Folk Festival, Gamble Rogers Festival, and more.  In addition to calling contradances, Roberta also gives waltz, schottishe and polka workshops.  Roberta is an honorary goose, and often joins the band playing waltzes on her English concertina.  Find out more about Roberta by visiting her websites:  www.geocities.com/rkoguts.
