Welcome to the wonderful world of movies with MAIN's movie critic, Peter
Loewer. Loewer was co-founder of the original Asheville Film Society
back in 1994, a group that brought films to an Asheville audience that
Cinematique overlooked. He was one of the original co-founders of the
Asheville Film Commission, a board created by Mayor Leni Sitnik back in
2000. For years he reviewed movies on WCQS, our local Public Radio station. He's
been going to the movies since he was six, has a collection of great
movies that is continually updated, and is an acknowledged expert on
horror and science fiction films.
