PURPOSES

1. Record Deeds, Contracts, Leases, Mortgages, Deeds of Trust, Assumed Names, Maps and Plats, Marriage Settlements, Power of Attorneys, Bankruptcy Order, Inheritance Tax Waiver, Judgments, UCCs, Articles of Incorporations, Corporate Mergers, Cancellations to Deeds of Trust, Military Discharge and other Miscellaneous recordings. 2. Record and issue certified copies of Birth Certificates, Death Certificates, Delayed Birth Certificates, and Marriage Certificates.

3. Issue Marriage Licenses.

4. Collect money for Revenue Stamps placed on Deeds that are being recorded.

5. Make copies and wait on the public.

6. Microfilm the records used as backup records and used on reader printers for research.

7. Maintain all records in a manner that can be accessible to the public.
