Front-Office Manager

The nonprofit Mountain Area Information Network (MAIN) seeks a Front-Office Manager for its community wireless ISP and FM radio operations. This half-time position (20 hours per week) is an opportunity to learn MAIN's pioneering community media business model from the ground up. That model gives local citizens the option of spending their Internet dollars to support local news and information. Job duties include processing and tracking subscribers of MAIN's ISP services, training and managing office volunteers, processing payments, phone and office reception, marketing and social media support, and customer service. Qualified candidates must be highly organized and adept at multitasking, with superior communication and people skills. Liberal arts graduates or equivalent experience preferred; strong computer skills and commitment to MAIN's mission required. Position has the potential to become full time.
