- August 2 - Club Day, set aside on the fifth Tuesday of a month to discuss and review Kiwanis business. Review the activities and achievements of the different committees. Open the floor to Kiwanis business.
- August 9 - Phil Lytle, Head coach of the semi-pro Asheville Grizzlies football team
- August 16 - Will Yeiser from the French Broad River Academy, an all boys middle school
- August 23 - Kimberly Brewster, Executive Director of the Nature Center
- August 30 - Michelle Moog, Executive Director of the Bob Moog Foundation
