Getting a Library Card
Anyone over the age of five who:
- lives
- works
- goes to school
- owns property
in McDowell County may register to borrow materials free of charge. To get a card, show identification with your correct mailing address at the circulation desk. Children under 17 will need the signature of a parent or legal guardian. People not eligible for a free card may get an Out of County card by paying $15.00 per year, with a limit of 3 items on the first visit.
