Making Choices for Strong Families
Based on a curriculum developed ay The Jordan Institute for Families at the UNC-Chapel Hill School of Social Work. This program is specifically designed to help children and parents deal with challenging social situations. The curriculum embraces all aspects of protective factors as it presents healthy beliefs and clear standards, promotes bonding, and assists in the development of skills aimed at developing characters and strengthing families.
New Day program
NEW DAY provides dropout prevention and graduation assistance services to 6th - 12th grade students.
NEW DAY offers acadmeic support, employment counselling/job oportunities, famiy counseling and support.
NEW DAY helps youths with the following needs:
Suspension support, Adjudicatted youth support, High school credit recovery, Middle school basic skills and test preparations.NEW DAY is an educational computer lab that utilizes Nova Net software and a licensed teacher to manage the lab.
