ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — According to Asheville firefighters on the scene, a car found submerged in the French Broad Saturday afternoon was reported stolen last week.
Divers found no one inside it.
According to one firefighter on the scene, the car is a Jaguar.
Crews responded after tubers spotted the car in the river around 4 p.m.
Responders are working the scene in Asheville's River Arts District at the Craven Street bridge, next to the O'Reilly's on River Road.
