Ann Coulter Rages on Twitter After Delta Switched Her Pre-Booked Seat
Celebrity

The company fired back at Coulter, who insulted the woman given her seat by calling her a 'dachshund-legged woman,' by tweeting that her insults were 'unacceptable and unnecessary.'

AceShowbiz - Ann Coulter spent her weekend launching into a tirade against Delta Airlines in two-day tweetstorm. The conservative columnist took to her Twitter account on Saturday and Monday, July 15-16 to slam the company after it kicked her out of her pre-booked "extra room" seat on a flight Saturday from New York's LaGuardia Airport to Florida.

"Just when you think it's safe to fly them again, the worst airline in America is STILL: @Delta," Coulter snarked, before adding in another tweet, "Why are you taking me out of the extra room seat I specifically booked, @Delta?' Flight attendant: "I don't know."

The 55-year-old writer also shared a photo of the woman who was given her seat, saying that she was "not an air marshal or tall person." She continued taking a jab at the company as she wrote, "Suckiest @Delta moved me from my PRE-BOOKED SEAT & gave it to some woman, not elderly, child, or sick. I have pictures so don't lie, @Delta!" She also insulted the passenger, calling her a "dachshund-legged woman", as well as compared Delta employees to prison guards and the former East German secret police.

Delta fired back at the right-leaning TV commentator on late Sunday by replying, "We're sorry you did not receive the preferred seat you paid for and will refund your $30. (cont.)" The company went on tweeting, "Additionally, your insults about our other customers and employees are unacceptable and unnecessary."

However, it seemed like Coulter didn't read the tweets as she continued her rage on the micro-blogging site. "STILL WAITING FOR AN EXPLANATION FROM THE BRILLIANT, TALENTED, HARDWORKING STAFF AT @Delta," she expressed her anger as if Delta didn't try to contact her following her complaints. In fact, it turned out that a costumer service representative previously tried to contact Coulter at the time of her problem.

A Delta spokesperson revealed to The Washington Post that Coulter remained in the same row-the exit row, which had extra leg room. "She was moved from an aisle to a window. Same space, a few seats over," the spokesperson further explained.
