Happenings

Chair massage: Feb. 8 in the morning. Ten minute sessions. Call 978-540-2470 to set an appointment time. Participants remain clothed throughout.

Writing groups: 10-11:30 a.m. Wednesdays in January and February, non-judgemental writing groups; 9:30-11 a.m. Fridays, Writing With Critique. $4 per session. Call 978-540-2470 to register.

Winter closing policy: The Senior Diner will be closed whenever the Littleton schools are closed. The COA office will only close when the Town Hall closes. Call 978-540-2470 if you have questions about closings.

Daily hot lunch: Served at 19 Shattuck St., Common Room. Closed Feb.15 for Presidents Day. Cost is a $2 donation. Provided by Minuteman Senior Services.

Littleton social club: Supportive group for isolated seniors, meets three times a week. Contact Tina Maeder 978-540-2472.

Yoga: 9:30-10:45 a.m. Wednesdays at the COA. Cost is $3 per session. Gentle Flow Yoga – beginners welcome. Meets in the Multipurpose Room. No sign-up needed.

Computer classes: 10:30 a.m. Thursdays in Room 230. Beginners welcome. Call 978-540-2470 to sign up for this free class.

Support group for caregivers: Caring for an adult in the home? Call Tina Maeder at 978-540-2472 for details on the monthly caregiver support group. Next meeting is 6 p.m. Feb. 24. No charge, light supper provided.

Stretch and flex: 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. Designed for all fitness levels. Cost is $2 per session. In the Multipurpose Room. Will not meet Dec. 24.

Tai-chi/qigong: 11 a.m. Mondays and Saturdays in Multipurpose Room and 6 p.m. Tuesdays at the COA room 230. Cost is $3. No sign-up needed.

FIT-4-LIFE with Phyllis: 9-10 a.m. Tuesday and Thursday. Intermediate to advanced, increase your bone mass, improve your flexibility, balance and endurance to music. $2 per session. In the Multipurpose Room. Phyllis is on vacation the weeks of July 20 and 27s.

Blood pressure screening: 10 a.m. to noon Tuesdays at the COA in Room 230.

COA Mart van: In addition to regular rides, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. to medical appointments, the van provides rides to local markets and stores. Rides to the Senior Diner and the COA always free. Call 978-844-6809 for rides.

Veterans office: 8:45-11:45 a.m. Mondays and Tuesdays in Room 222. For appointment call 978-540-2485.

Thrift shop: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.
