This case was before the Court on Defendants' Motion for Sanctions Pursuant to
'Federal Rule of Civil Procedure [hereinafter "Rule"] 11 and Defendants' Motion for
Attorneys' Fees and Expenses. For the reasons stated both in the accompanying
Memorandum Opinion aDd from the bench, Defendants' Rule 1 J Motjon for Sanctions is
DENIED as to al1 counts under Rule ll(h)(l) and (b)(2). Defendants' Motion for
Sanctions, under Rule 1] (b)(3), is DENIED as to Count] and GRANTED as to Counts n
andIH. For his violation ofRu.le.l1 (b)(3), the Court awards sanctions aga1nstP1aintiffs'
counsel: Kirk D. Lyons, Esquire, in the amount of $10,000.00,
Additionally, the Court GRANTS Defendants' Motion for Attorneys' Fees and
Expenses under 42 U.S.c. § 2000-e(5)(k). Accordingly, the Court ORDERS that the
Plaintiffs pay $26,100.00 of Defendants' attorneys' fees and $] ,450.00 of Defendants'
