Spent the day at the Botanical Gardens which included a spring-flower outdoor walk-and-lecture by Dr. Orbison, attended by many visitors. Learned a bunch!

Took a walk near the house and discovered a quick way to the woods along with quite a bit of trailing arbutus in bloom. Also, finished reading The Education of Little Tree.
